Coastal Charm

Not the peaceful getaway we had hoped for. The house right next to us was under major construction. There was a giant dumpster in the yard, construction sounds outside my kids' bedroom window waking them up in the morning, construction workers on the back patio right across from us, and even trespassers who went into the vacant house once or twice to smoke. The hosts were very nice to provide us many details about the area and nearby shops in advance but never mentioned this. The main drive through Folly Beach was also covered in construction, with dozers blocking sidewalks and shops. The house itself had great beach access, and we enjoyed having a fenced yard for our dogs. The upstairs standalone air conditioner by the bed was cold but very loud and made it difficult for me to sleep with it cycling on and off all the time.We still had a great time but would have appreciated some warning about the construction and probably would have stayed elsewhere.

This rental was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. The king bed in the loft area was very comfortable. Beautiful ocean views. Great deck and little yard with gates- perfect for our dog. Plenty of lawn chairs on the deck too! Situated in a quiet area yet within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Not too far a drive to many amazing parks with extensive biking trails. Responsive owner! We had a fantastic time!

Nice view and close access to the beach. The bathroom has some hair in the shower when we checked in besides that a nice visit.

We met the host and she was very nice and accommodating

The house was perfect for our weekend get away with our dogs. Alicia was very pleasant to communicate with and the house included everything we needed for the stay
